Reflection

  As a Legal Management student, taking an English course is really important to my chosen field. My expectations before attending classes in English 2 were to learn more about reading and writing and more on application. I also thought that we would do a lot of talking and speaking but like what the course outline follows, it focuses mainly on reading and writing. My expectations were met and I actually find our seat works / essays really helpful. However I was also expecting more reading materials, not just from our text book. Like our professor would recommend us to read this certain book or classics and then we would do a book review. That would be great but nevertheless our book alone improved our reading and writing skills.

   In our course, English 2, I won't deny but I actually learned a lot of things. Not just basically reading and writing down essays. seat works, reflection papers etc. but I learned to analyze things, such as poems, stories more than it's structure but to know what it is it's true message is. It brought me into thinking to know more than it's body but to see it's soul and what it really implies. My favorite activity in this course is when our professor would ask us to write down essays and make us speak in front of what we learned about this certain topic.

  All in all it was such a nice and meaningful experience. I learned a lot of things and I know it will be helpful to my course, Legal Management. What I would like to recommend to my professor to improve the presentation of this course is to add more reading materials or present more topics or stories. That's all, thank you.

My Cat

         It is a four-legged animal, smaller than a dog but bigger than a mouse. It purrs, it meows and gets moody often times. What is it? Yes, it's a cat. A cat is, in it's technical meaning can be referred a  "small, usually furry, domesticated, and carnivorous mammal." Well I guess you know what a cat is. But particularly, I am going to talk about my own pet cat. It is a carnivorous mammal, domesticated and such but I can assure you my cat is more than that.

    My cat is a fun-loving cat but sometimes she can be a fussy one. She acts normal like every cat would do. But there are times when I wake up in the morning and I caught her staring at me like she's going to eat me. I made some research and good thing that it just symbolizes "trust". My cat also loves to eat and especially to sleep. Her favorite food is tuna, cheese and milk. And just like any other cat, their skills in hunting can be clearly seen when they see a target. My cat usually brings me dead mouse, birds or sometimes bats that symbolizes their offering. Which I most of the time, I find it very amusing.

   Every little thing that she does, like following me through my bedroom and play with me at night is what I truly like. It's like she's more than a cat to me, she's more of like my best friend. Even though there are times when I don't notice her due to my obligations/school works. Nevertheless, she'll always be my cat.

Bittersweet Love

Your love is like a cotton candy

Sweet as it can be

But you love other than me

So I just go away and flee

You love is like a sweet lollipop

You make my heart go pop

But with a blink of an eye

It was left with a teardrop

Your love is like a pie

Without fillings and full of lies

You make me want to die

I was filled with cries

Your love is like a bitter chocolate

You are always late

It does not feel great

Maybe we should seperate
